It’s been literally 3 years since one of my most loved groups ever made their last album, “The Garden”, but now they have broken the silence to fill the void left in my headphones due to their absence with the exclusive track “Everything Up (Zizou)”, from their new album “Yeah Ghost”. The thing that most endears me to this group is that they refuse to stay in one place musically. Since I first started listening to them, they have been classified as Downtempo, Jazz, Electro, Folk, and many many more, and they have continued to produce solid music that speaks to me personally and also seems to grow with my taste and character as I move along in life. Zero 7 - “Everything Up (Zizou)”

Taiwanese brand OVERKILL has just released a few new pieces for their Spring Summer 2009 collection, of which these Ostrich leather hats are featured. They get a A+ in my book for subtle branding and comfortable look, and they will soon be available at select retailers.

Sometimes, simplicity is everything. In Hermès case, these goatskin shoes are the very definition of that. Simple black upper with a white sole, and very a discreet ‘H’ on either side of each shoe, this are definitely worth a purchase. Available here.

Opening Ceremony’s upcoming Winter collection is a versatile plethora of several different shoe types and styles. Switiching between leather, suede, and wool, the overall look of the collection is entirely cohesive with one another, with each piece looking like it belongs. Nixon recently unveiled 2 more colorways for their rubberized model, “The Player”, and I honestly have never seen such a solid color lineup from a watch company like this. 3Sixteen has made a wide and colorful slew of well done, hand made ties, that really add a vintage feel to the whole collection. Story time. So when I was but a wee 16 year old with style and taste well beyond my years, I visited a mall in the city, and found a watch that I fell in love with the second I saw it for $30. I was estatic. I wore the watch everywhere. I even took it with me on a cruise to Panama, Costa Rica, and Belize. Even to the petting zoo on Panama, even to the monkey cage, where I decided it would be a good idea to pet the closest monkey to me. And I later regretted the decision as the monkey had somehow managed to disengage the watch latch and take the watch right off my wrist, and fling it into a nearby bucket of water inside the cage. Needless to say, they watch in question is currently no longer with me. We all have that one friend is is the master at somehow scoring the girl that no one else had the guts to get. Or you may even be that guy yourself. But one thing that the Ladies Man has in common with others like himself are 10 secrets that we rarely admit to, and those are…

1.   90% of Ladies men have had their hearts broken, badly.

We may try to maintain that no girl has ever gotten the best of us, but the real truth is that most womanizer’s at one time were deeply in love with someone who used their hearts like a Wednesday paper to swat a fly.

2. Women, you made us this way.

I hear all the time how much a girl just wants to find “Mr. Right”, but she can’t sift through all the guys with bad motives and eager appetite to get it and quit it. Well here is a secret ladies, your species likes to kill the good guys off early on. And here is why. Women like excitement, and they like to be challenged, and for some reason, the gentle and kind spirit of a man who would give anything to please his woman is the one who gets used and abused. The mistreatment of the nice guy eventually leads to the Womanizer as we know him in this article, a cold hearted, self serving man who could care less about summer plans with the Misses parents, or watching The Notebook. While your unlikely to get any womanizers standing up to admit this, some ladies men really still want to love, but are so lost in the game of chatting up women and meeting new ones that hope looks slim and they often times forget what the word even means. But like they say, it takes one woman to change a man forever…

5. Someone taught us almost everything we know.

While this may not seem like such a revelation, a lot of guy’s nowadays try to pretend like they came across their lady alluring skills by chance. Not so. Most guy’s I know who are popular with women have had a ‘Mentor’, a former womanizer who fell in love and got married, and, for fear of the knowledge he used being lost forever like some precious treasure, he found some eager ears to pass the knowledge on to.

Hopefully, some of these have been informative to both sexes, and maybe now that the cat is out of the bag, some of these can be rectified by the right people. Or not. As they said in the old days, “The show must go on.”
